Lucky Fashion Eyewear for Kids

I have a daughter who’s almost five but apparently already able to figure out what’s stylish and what’s not.  And, do you know what she wants more than anything?  A pair of glasses (oh, and a matching pink pair for her doll of course.)

Yes, apparently times have changed. When I was a child everyone feared visiting the optometrist and finding out that they had to wear glasses.  Now, kids want to wear them because they know they look cool…and smart, too!

What’s in style for the youngest of trendsetters? Well, it turns out to be just about the same as what’s fashionable for those who are old enough to pay for their own eye exams.  Current glasses trends including vibrant colors, tone-on-tone colors, and cute hipster or geek glasses are all hot styles in children’s eyeglass frames.  And, Lucky Brand — the makers of those cool jeans that kids and mommies alike love– makes some of the hottest frames out their for kiddos.

Check out a few of my favorites.  And, if you’ve got a child who needs glasses, they will feel “lucky” to go home with any of these cool frames!

Ironically, my first favorite frame is actually called, “Favorite.”  These glasses are hot pink, black and in a word: hip!  If your little gal has some spunk and a bit of ‘tude, these might be just her style.

Is your youngin’ a little on the wild side? Then check out these two frames. The first one is called Jade and is one of every little girl’s favorite colors (purple) with a touch of zebra pizzazz.  The second is called Willow and comes in a bright red color (it comes in some other stylish colors too)!  Let’s just say with these she’ll be able to see better and those glasses will always help her be seen!

Have a little hipster in your house? This over-sized classic look is probably what she’ll go for.  You’ve got to admit, both of these frames (called “Dupree” and “Skip Day”) are pretty cute!

Finally, if you’ve got a young man who wants to look like he’s ready to start filling out Ivy League applications, you’ll want to check out Lucky’s “Stephen” frame.  Just like dads?
