Designer Highlight: Lucky Brand
If you follow designer blue jean trends, there’s a good chance you know that luck had little to do with the tremendous success Gene Montesano and Barry Perlman found when they launched their own brand of blue jeans. Started in Vernon, California in 1990, Lucky Brand Jeans made their mark on the fashion industry by offering character and soul to the jeans they sold. Lucky’s trademark look includes denim that has been ripped, frayed, sanded, patched or washed by hand. Then, they add personalized touches, fun details, and trendy hardware in order to create the perfect must-have pair of blue jeans.
In 2013, the brand was acquired and its popularity has only continued to skyrocket. Now, the trademark Lucky Brand name can be found on sportswear, outerwear, t-shirts, and active wear.
You’ll also find the iconic Lucky Brand name on eyeglasses. The attention to style and detail that is put into these fashionable frames will blow you away.
Here are a few of my favorite Lucky Brand eyeglass frames for the whole family.
Lucky Brand D 401
This men’s frame takes a classic look and gives it an upgrade—a lot like what Lucky Brand’s founders did to their first collection of blue jeans. This square, plastic frame has a cool pattern that commands attention. Choose the blue version if you truly want the all- American Lucky Brand look.
Lucky Brand Seascape for Women
This is one of my all time favorite frames. I prefer the colors of the brown version but the vibrant red or the black with its colorful temples are excellent choices too. This slender, plastic frame is lightweight and subtle. Perfect for a professional setting but relaxed enough for your leisure time.
Lucky Brand Poet for Women
This glamorous red frame with a cream colored inside accent exudes style. This is the perfect designer frame to dress up a cool pair of jeans or pair with your little black dress for a night on the town.
Lucky Brand for Kids D 702
This could be the perfect little girl’s eyeglass frame. Stylish, durable and pink. Enough said, right? If your daughter seeks a stand out style, the funky pattern and cat eye shape will win her heart.
Lucky Brand Zak
If your son wears glasses, check out this stylish youth frame from Lucky Brand. The pale blue color gives it a unique look, while the durable and lightweight plastic keeps it comfortable for wear all day long.
