Color Me Coral: Eyeglasses for Summer

Summer is almost here and seasonal fashions are bright, girly, and colorful.  One of this season’s top picks from the color wheel is a personal favorite of mine: coral.

Coral is a fantastic color because it’s so versatile. It’s almost like a beige, but, yet, it’s got a little more color and pop!  If you are out shopping for some new seasonal items this month you’ll find coral everything–from shorts to sandals and maxi dresses and great accessories.

One of the hottest trends of this season is to put your color on the bottom. A cute coral high-low skirt and a white tank top would be a can’t-miss outfit for a great summer day trip.  Coral looks great with gray, baby blue, and nude. And, of course, you can’t go wrong with a coral and white combination!

But, what I think would make any outfit built around this pink-and-orange-blend look dynamic is a pair of fashion eyeglass frames that highlight the same coral color!

These are two of my favorite women’s eyeglass frames.  The first one is by Vera Bradley and is called “Call Me Coral.”

I love how on the outside this frame is a go-with-anything brown (almost tortoise shell) tone but then on the inside is a signature Vera Bradley pattern look on a bold, pretty and very feminine color background.  It’s a lightweight plastic frame, too, which will make it comfortable to wear when the temperature outside is anything but comfortable.  Color Me Coral may well be the perfect summer designer eyeglass frame…although it has some stiff competition from this frame by this feminine frame by Daisy Fuentes!

Take a look at this beautiful semi-rimless metal frame called, “Peace.”

If you don’t immediately fall in love with the beautiful color and styling of this eyeglass frame, you will be smitten once you catch a glimpse of all these cute little peace signs on the side of the temples.  I love the pretty style and charm of this coral eyeglass frame and I think you will too.  It’s got some color and personality but is still neutral enough to go with just about any look you want to achieve this season!
