Anne Klein Eyewear for Back to School

Whether you are on your way to high school, college, or graduate school, a few new pairs of designer eyeglasses are a must have for back to school.  Today I’ll show you a few of my favorite fall picks that will certainly earn you straight A’s for style.  Even if school’s not a part of your plan, you’ll look smarter on the job wearing any of these cool frames.

The best part about these four of my favorite ladies back to school frames is that they are all made by designer Anne Klein who just happens to have a very inspirational story for any woman with aspirations.

The History Behind the Brand

Born Hannah Golafanski, Anne Klein had a dream and a vision to change the way young women dressed by creating a segment of the clothing market just for them.  Before Klein came along, girls between the ages of 12 and 20 were forced to choose between little girl styles (bows and ribbons included) or older women’s clothing (which was often too mature or frumpy for a youthful woman!).

She was determined. And, she succeeded in creating what we now refer to as “juniors” clothing.  Along with her chief designer, Donna Karan (a woman who’s name you probably know!), Klein accomplished her goal and changed the way the fashion world viewed, designed for, and sold to young woman. Klein died of breast cancer in 1974, but her legacy and impact on the fashion world is still felt today, almost 40 years later.

Subtle Gray

The first one is perhaps the most subtle of my picks, yet still quite modern with it’s mix of gray and browns (gray is this season’s must have neutral!).

Retro Cool

This second frame is retro cool.  I love it’s oversized look and the splash of color hiding in the temples and behind the eyeglass lenses.  It’s fun and comfortable to wear too.

Unique Colors

This is perhaps one of the most unique eyeglass frames I’ve ever seen.  Navy eyeglass frames are hard to find but this one is even more special because it fades to silver and gold in a subtle, understated way.

Geek Chic Femininity

This final frame is screams smart and feminine.  If you like the geek chic look but with a little more of finesse, this is one pair you need this Fall.
